The good news is that this state isn't luck. It's something you can invite on purpose, gently, starting smaller than you'd think. Let's begin.
Deep work is the opposite of the scattered, half-present way most of us spend our days. Instead of skimming across ten tasks while half-watching notifications, you go deep on one. You let your mind sink into a single problem long enough to do something good with it.
